This study is an exit poll of the 39th Canada General Election, performed on January 23, 2006. An online survey tool was used to examine voter attitudes and preferences in the 39th Canada general election. Respondents provide information regarding their voting decision and reasons for voting the way they did, their opinions regarding the best outcome for the election, issues that matter most during the campaign. Respondents were specifically queried on the Sponsorship Scandal, abortion, same-sex marriage, and religion. This study has a sample of 36,003 respondents.
